Wiring Diagram — 1S × 4P
Wire all 4 batteries in parallel (+ to +, − to −)
Parallel LiFePO4 banks: batteries should be at the same state of charge before connecting in parallel. Use a BMS that supports parallel operation.
Wiring rules
Series wiring: connect + to − in a chain. Voltage multiplies, Ah stays the same. Used to reach higher system voltages.
Parallel wiring: connect + to + and − to −. Ah multiplies, voltage stays the same. Used to increase capacity.
Always use identical batteries in a bank — same brand, model, age, and state of charge. Mismatched batteries cause imbalance and premature failure.
Each parallel string needs its own fuse at the battery end. A short in one string can backfeed through others without fusing.
