Select your AC loads to get the correct inverter size, DC cable size, fuse rating, and recommended models — with smart sizing that accounts for what actually runs at the same time.
System Voltage
12V: max ~3kW practical. Higher loads need 24V.

Inverter sizing rules
Size for the largest group of loads you'll run simultaneously — not everything at once. Most loads don't run at the same time.
Motor loads (AC units, fridges, pumps) draw 2–3× running watts on startup. Always check the inverter's surge/peak rating covers this.
Inverter-chargers add shore power and generator charging — worth the extra cost for most builds. Pure sine is required for sensitive electronics.
24V systems halve the DC current for the same power output — thinner cables, smaller fuses, more efficient inverter operation.
